About the Initiative
6G4All aims to make mobile network innovations accessible, practically usable and efficiently exploitable at an early stage. At its core is the early provision of standards-compatible, open end-to-end experimental solutions. These enable developers, companies and research institutions to develop, test and optimize applications before 6G becomes widely available.
A key approach of 6G4All is the seamless transfer of innovation research results into real markets. Demonstration and development work is carried out on platforms based on market-ready hardware. This preserves research and development investments, reduces integration efforts and significantly shortens innovation cycles.
The initiative covers the entire end-to-end mobile network chain – from terminal through RAN to core. In addition, 6G4All provides interoperable modules for complete 5G/6G applications, including application-specific components such as security mechanisms or digital twins.
By building an international developer community, 6G4All fosters the creation of high-performance networked applications. This accelerates the adoption of new mobile network technologies, strengthens innovation ecosystems and increases demand for capable public and private network infrastructures.
Wherever possible, 6G4All relies on open interfaces, open-source approaches and the use of market-ready hardware.
